For the third consecutive year, the Manistee Soccer Club and the
Manistee Recreation Association are working together
to bring a quality summer soccer camp to Manistee. Once
again we have selected the British Soccer Camp offered by
Challenger Sports. This camp has been extemely popular with players,
parents, and local soccer coaches. It has allowed our local athletes
and
coaches to benefit from a highly qualified coaching staff that
provides a custom designed day camp right
here in our own community. It eliminates the high cost of out
of town lodging, meals and transportation. It reduces scheduling
conflicts
and permits the athletes and families the ability to maintain a more
normal
work, worship, weekend, etc. schedule while attending camp. It also
allows
the families and organizational authorities the opportunity to observe
the
camp sessions and get to know the coaching staff.

A brochure and registratration forms will be
distributed in schools and at soccer practices in
the spring. It will also be available through the
MRA and the local camp coordinators (Tom Swedenborg 231-723-
0114 and Paul Hanus 231-233-3268) and on our website as it becomes
available.
